Business administration tip 3: Set time aside

>> Helping sooth away your business administration headache <<

If I were to ask our customers what the hardest part of running their business is, 90% would say they don't have enough time.

Time to talk to customers ...

Time to follow up prospects ...

Time to do admin ....

Time to review finances ...

Or just time to stop and think.

Perhaps you're the same?

You could say it's simply a bane of running a business - something that comes with the job, so to speak.

Well, yes and no.

It certainly comes with the territory. But it doesn't have to be the pain in the neck - the thing nagging away at you in the back of your mind - as you might think. Because there's a simple tip you can make use of to take away some of the pressure.

And it's this ...

Set aside some time on a Monday morning, or a day that works best for you, to organise your business administration for the week.

It could be a half day, it could be a whole day - whatever you think is needed.

But in the same way you might book in some time to meet a client, it's important to set time apart for your admin to avoid it spiraling out of control.

And once you've reviewed your books, typed up your quotes, sent out your invoices etc ... you will find it easier to focus on the rest of your week with a clear mind. You'll be surprised how much better you feel once you have gotten through all of your admin, too.

I told you it was simple, the best advice always is.

If you would like further advice, or help managing your administration, why don't you drop me an email?

Best, Sarah
